Butterfly Connect’s most straightforward match occurs when two butterflies of the same species are positioned side by side, either along the board’s edges or within its interior. These pairs often stand out visually, making them ideal targets early in gameplay to clear clusters and open up the board’s center. Some players, however, intentionally leave certain obvious matches untouched early on, reserving them as emergency options later. This tactic can provide a quick timer boost if time runs low, turning simple matches into strategic lifelines.
