Villagers whispered of the Draconic Eclipse, a prophecy etched into crumbling temple tablets, warning that the dragon’s awakening would unravel reality’s seams. Yet treasure hunters still dared the ashen slopes, lured by tales of the Godspike—a fabled shard of the dragon’s own horn, said to grant dominion over time’s flow. None returned. Now, tremors rip through the continent. The mountain’s crater glows like a second moon, and winged shadows blot out the sun. The final verse of the Eclipse prophecy echoes in taverns and throne rooms alike: *“When claws pierce the sky, and the chain of worlds shakes, only the oath-breaker’s blood can quench the eternal flame.”* But whose blood? The disgraced knight who once vowed to slay the beast? The sorcerer-king whose ancestors forged the dragon’s prison? Or the orphaned thief clutching a dagger carved from a scale no mortal weapon should scratch?
