Control

Each player starts with seven dominoes in a two-player game or six dominoes if three or four are playing, ensuring all tiles remain face-down during distribution to conceal their values. The leftover dominoes form a reserve pile—referred to as the pickaxe—for players to draw from during gameplay.

description

Dominoes opens with the player holding the highest double tile—double six being the strongest. If no one has this tile, the starting turn falls to whoever owns the next-highest double. Players then take turns connecting dominoes by matching the number of pips on one end of their tile to an exposed end of the existing chain. Victory is secured by emptying one’s hand first. Should the game deadlock with no valid moves remaining, all players tally the pips on their remaining tiles—the individual with the lowest total claims victory.
