description

Little Skullboy’s bones clatter as he stumbles deeper into the labyrinth’s shadowed heart—a maze of jagged brick and whispers that coil like smoke. Traps lurk beneath cracked tiles; phantom wails echo where walls bend into false paths. His hollow eyes catch a glint ahead: a rusted dagger lodged in stone, its edge humming with a ghostly sheen. He grips it, and the blade thrums—a key to sever curses? To wound what cannot die? He presses on, ducking under tripwires strung with teeth, leaping pits where skeletal hands claw upward. A ghoulish shriek splits the air—a specter drifts toward him, rags fluttering like rotten wings. The dagger flares. He slashes, and the spirit dissolves into ash. Further in, he finds a vial of smoldering pitch. He lobs it. Fire blooms, melting a barred gate. The labyrinth shifts, walls grinding, but Skullboy sprints—ahead, moonlight pierces the gloom. A final corridor. A pressure plate. He hurls the dagger, triggering darts that miss him by a breath. Freedom gleams. He leaps—and lands in thorned brush outside, the maze collapsing behind him. Not all escapes leave you whole… but alive? Close enough.
