The fourth challenge? A vertical ascent up a crumbling clocktower. Gear mechanisms grind, launching saw blades as the shark rams the structure below. He springboards off Paragoombas, clings to moving platforms, and hurls himself through a closing trapdoor. The final showdown erupts in the castle’s throne room. The Chain Chomp Shark smashes through stained glass, enraged. Mario dodges its charges, luring it toward a cracked support pillar. One well-timed Ground Pound—the ceiling collapses, pinning the monster under debris. With a final leap, he triggers the flagpole, sealing victory.
