The rotting stench of decay hangs thick as you brace against the splintered barn door, your back pressed to weathered wood while guttural snarls claw through the night. Five waves. That’s all that stands between you and escape from this hellscape of shambling corpses and blood-soaked soil. They’re coming — faster, hungrier, more twisted with each relentless tide. Your fingers curl around steel: a sawed-off shotgun loaded with incendiary rounds, a modified AK-47 strapped across your chest, grenades clinking heavy on your belt. The first guttural wail splits the air. Shadows lurch into the moonlit field — dozens at first, then hundreds, flesh sloughing off bone as they surge toward the farmhouse. Blast them apart. Burn them down. Hack through the writhing mass before they overrun the barricades. Ammo crates scatter the yard, traps primed to detonate, but the horde never stops. Adapt. Survive. Pray the arsenal holds out before dawn breaks… or you do.
